To excel as a Web Designer, a candidate must fulfill the duties and responsibilities that include:
- Design, build, and maintain websites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
- Perform or direct website updates.
- Write, design or edit web page content, or coordinate with others producing content.
- Confer with Department Management or the Department Web Development Team Leadership to prioritize projects, develop content criteria, or recommend solutions.
- Identify web service issues uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct or refer problems to the appropriate personnel for correction.
- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Maintain understanding of current web design technologies and programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
- Create and maintain a database of design assets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of software engineering or related field.
· Proficient in Adobe illustrator and photoshop
· Basic understanding of HTML & CSS and JS.
· +5 years of experience.
· SEO and marketing principles is preferable.
· API experience.
