Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews Project technical documents for compliance with piping and welding codes and standards, Contract requirements, results of previous design stages, etc. under the direction of the Site Construction Supervision Lead and/or Mechanical Erection Lead
- Provides the review results in the agreed form and within established deadlines
- Provides technical support to the Mechanical Erection Lead and Site Construction Supervision team on issues related to piping erection and welding engineering
- Monitors construction of NPP’s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design
- Reviews Field Change Requests for design compliance
- Provides Design and Safety analysis according to international and local regulation and standards
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments for piping and welding processes and systems
- Reviews as-built design documents and modification of piping systems
- Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to piping and welding systems and processes
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical skills; 7+ years of experience in piping and welding engineering on large scale projects or in nuclear power plant development. Nuclear experience is required.Knowledge in Russian Nuclear Codes for welding Process is desirable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian and/or Arabic is a plus
