Data & Analytics Process & Ops Lead_VOIS


 

Role Purpose:

You will play a key role in the rollout of Vodafone’s Global Data & Analytics strategy and business transformation. Driving operational excellence, embedding the new ways of working, service level agreements, operational level agreements and the associated assurance reports.

You will be required to understand the existing operating model for D&A and work with stakeholders from multiple functions across the organisation, with a focus on continuous improvement & operational efficiency. Managing the collaboration tooling requirements to support the business whilst maintaining clear lines of responsibility & accountability; ensuring smooth handling of change requests & incidents and timely resolution.. In delivery of this, you will lead training workshops and deliver informative communications.

This will involve working with various stakeholders to understand the critical success factors & key areas for improvement, reporting progress against this to senior leadership, and being proactive in removing blockers and championing appropriate change.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:

  • Operational Excellence:
o For all D&A products and services manage the end-to-end daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly operational processes and assurance
o Work with D&A IT & support partners to maintain clear lines of responsibility, accountability and communication; ensuring smooth handling of change, incidents and timely resolution.
o Establish a regular forum with D&A, Technology & Support Services teams to report, maintain and improve existing delivery and ensure operational optimisation across teams & locations


  • Business Transformation
o Support operating model design, enabling a smooth & stable transition
o Business partner the Process Transformation Lead, supporting the global organisation to shift to the new way of working
o For new D&A initiatives, work with relevant parties to define and deliver the frameworks and capability to deliver the same consistent standards of operational excellence.

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of Data Analytics, Process Improvement and operating model transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT teams to communicate business requirements and support design & implementation of technology processes
  • Experience in Atlassian JIRA & Confluence software would be a real benefit

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications:

Qualifications in Process Improvement/Agile preferred (e.g. BCS / PMI-ACP / SAFe)
